The Death, or Destroying Angel, is the common name for certain mushrooms of the Amanitas family. They are innocent and pure in appearance. The real siren to watch out for in this piece is the Destroying Angel herself. Serenely lounging on a heavenly-looking mushroom, she sings her seductive song encouraging "just one bite" from the viewer. She is a lovely oxymoron. I hope you will invite her into your home where she will create her unique magic:) Be cautious--She may be lovely, but she is also lethal.
